Communication Sciences


The purpose of this training program is to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to understand and analyze the phenomena of communication and information. The training program takes a multidisciplinary approach. It revolves around theoretical knowledge (theories of communication, communication concepts, methodological and critical analyzes …) and practical applications (photos, press, video, Web, etc.).

The criteria for admission to this training are determined by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Presentation sessions of this training are organized and explanations are given by the registrar.

The training consists of 2 years of core courses including Bac1 and Bac2 courses. Students who have passed Bac2 are moving towards two options: Communication for Development, whose course plan is detailed here, and Audiovisual Design and Production, including the courses detailed here.

At the end of their training, students of Communication for Development are able to design and carry out communication actions on behalf of their organizations. Students of the audiovisual design and production option are able to design the various communication tools such as radio and television programs, posters, printed matter and websites.

The studies are sanctioned by a diploma of Bachelor.

The winners of the Faculty of Communication Sciences are recruited to positions of communication officer within the various public and private organizations or journalists in the various radio and television stations.
